The Build: Opening Note

The anticipation level of The Build is growing with the introduction of the architectural renderings displayed in the clubhouse over the Labor Day weekend. Over 100 members came out for the tennis mixer and pool activities over the holiday; many of them, and others since, expressed enthusiasm and voiced very positive comments.

There have already been signs of early stages of the project in progress. Assuming all goes according to schedule and construction details are finalized, preparation of the construction site and demolition of some existing structures will occur in the first few weeks of October. Orange safety fencing will be used to isolate areas under construction. Every effort is being made to keep disruptions to a minimum, but safety will be a primary consideration throughout the project. A significant portion of the renovation and build will occur around the clubhouse and pool areas, but as dirt is moved and grounds are prepped, areas off the parking lots will also be affected even early in the process.

The lap pool bubble installation is scheduled for early/mid October, prior to demolition of the surrounding areas. Parking around the pool will be affected as well as the entrance to the pool. Updates and instructions will be posted in advance.

We are anticipating groundbreaking around the fourth week of October. Watch for more details.
