SWIMMING FACILITIES AND ACTIVITIES

Hollow Rock boasts three beautiful and professionally maintained pools, containing a total of more than 300,000 gallons of water.  Beginning January 2010, Hollow Rock will be partnering with Duke Aquatics to provide a comprehensive array of aquatic programming. 

 RECREATIONAL POOL

The recreational pool offers a shallow entry and progresses to a nine foot deep diving well. The pool also offers up a diving board, pool slide and water basketball. The deck area is large with many lounge chairs, tables and multiple shaded areas. Also available is a playground and snack bar that's open daily during the summer season.

LAP POOL

The lap pool offers eight 25-meter lanes for your swimming workout. Year-round swimming is made available with the seasonal installation of an air supported bubble. The bubble goes up in early to mid October and comes down mid to late April.

At most times lap swimming only is allowed, but at certain times other swimming opportunities are offered, including weekend family swim, swim lessons and socials. Family swim times occur every Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. except for holidays and poor weather conditions.

WADING POOL

The wading pool is for infants and children up to four years old. There are programs for the younger children such as  Preschool hour and other fun games during holiday celebrations.
