One of North Carolina's premier tennis facilities, Hollow Rock Racquet & Swim Club is a member-owned club founded in 1972. Located between Durham and Chapel Hill, the club, over its 37-year history, has grown into a vibrant, family-oriented recreation facility that offers tennis and swim activites and instruction for players and swimmers of all ages and abilities.
Hollow Rock's tennis facility includes 19 Har-Tru (soft) tennis courts, 3 hard courts, and a lighted hitting wall. Of the 22 total courts, all but four are lighted for nighttime play.
The club's swimming facilities include a 150,000 gallon recreational pool open from mid-May through Labor Day; a wading pool for the youngest of bathers; and a 25-meter 8 lane heated lap pool that is open year round. During the colder months the lap pool is protected by a high quality "bubble."
Hollow Rock has a 7500 square foot clubhouse with a large meeting area, big screen TV, kitchen facilities, men's and women's bath facilities, and a tennis pro shop. See a map
